In 2021, Bruno Angelini created "Transatlantic Roots" with Fabrice Martinez and Éric Echampard, a programme dedicated to American counter-culture, whose piece Cage’s opening was dedicated to the creative duo John Cage/Merce Cunningham.
This particular blend of contemporary harmony, groove, electronics, and improvisation made him want to develop this aesthetic across an entire repertoire. This would be the starting point for Constellations.
