The Permanent Collections
Paul Marmottan’s magnificent private mansion, with its preserved Empire décor, now houses the Musée Marmottan Monet. In addition to its early period collections (paintings, sculptures, illuminations) and Empire collection, it is home to the world’s foremost collection of works by Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot. A major hub of Impressionism, it also preserves numerous masterpieces by: Delacroix, Boudin, Manet, Degas, Caillebotte, Sisley, Pissarro, Gauguin, and Rodin. Chagall represents the Modern era.
