All eyes turn to Vienna for the traditional New Year's concert. But at Gaveau, it's a French orchestra that brings to life brilliant Austrian waltzes, overtures, and polkas. After two gems from the repertoire of the First Viennese School, the young but already essential Consuelo Orchestra dresses up to interpret mythical works straight from the Kunstverein: the Overture to Die Fledermaus, The Blue Danube, and the Tritsch-Tratsch Polka.
